Police investigating Stranger Danger incident near Glendale school
GLENDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Police are investigating a stranger danger incident that happened near a Desert Spirit Elementary School on Friday morning.
Glendale police say a man tried to lure a group of three siblings into his van by promising them money and a ride to school. One of the children, a 12-year-old boy, pushed his sisters back and refused to get into the van.
The suspect then left the area. He is described as a white man, with a skinny build and short to medium blonde hair. He also has facial hair and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt.
The suspect's van is described as an older model, full-size van, with side-by-side rear doors. The rear windows were painted black and the van has many scratches.
Police want to remind all parents to be mindful of your children, especially on Halloween.
