Power strips are being recalled because the devices could cause severe injury.
The strips have an "ungrounded metal enclosure" that poses an electrocution risk if energized, resulting in serious injury or death, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
So far, no injuries have been reported because of consumers using the product. CPSC officials said the power strips were sold on Amazon.com, eBay.com, Kmart.com and Sears.com between May 2024 and October 2025 for roughly $35 to $56.

HEZI HOME issued a recall for 1,320 HEZI brand power strips which have either a gray or yellow metal enclosure with eight receptacles made of black plastic. The CPSC noted that there is a power and a circuit breaker switch located at the end of the metal enclosure near the power cord.
