Mesa man indicted for murder in baby's death

Man seen abandoning dog behind Pinal County animal shelter

A man was caught on video abandoning his older dog in a crate behind the Pinal Co. Animal Care and Control shelter. The shelter said the man did not contact them beforehand, and a staff member found the dog hours later without water. The dog is now safe.

Phoenix murder suspect takes his own life, police say
