University of Southern California classics professor Brandon Bourgeois has translated Homer’s Greek classic, "The Iliad," for students in the 21st century.  Bourgeois rapped the epic poem during one of his lectures, hoping to continue the tradition of spoken word for a more modern audience. 

The rankings are based on feedback from students and published in the Prince Review’s 2020 edition of “The Best 385 Colleges.”

The Eastern Lancaster County School District voted Monday to initiate an ambitious renovation plan to create non-gender specific facilities at its high school in place of traditional gender-specific locker rooms. 

If is passes, the bill would go into effect in July 2020.

Chipotle has expanded its tuition reimbursement program to provide all of its employees the chance at a college degree.

The giant Mexican food chain announced on Tuesday that it will give all eligible employees the ability to get a degree from an accredited university -- without incurring debt.

Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a new law on Sunday evening that bans California public high schools from starting before 8:30 a.m. and prohibits middle schools from beginning before 8 a.m.

"The thought of a fairly small sum being able to rectify that situation and clear the debt of all these families so the children could eat warm meals is really what got me."

California’s governor has signed into law a bill that guarantees all students a state-funded meal of their choice, even if their parent or guardian has unpaid meal fees.
