If you're in the east Valley, Mesa is hosting a festive 4th of July bash. There will be music, food, bounce houses and a grand finale of fireworks. For those of you in the west Valley, Peoria will be the place to be. There's also plenty of fun for the kids, live music, and a firework show featuring 1,200 fireworks.

The Phoenix Zoo has opened a brand new pollinator garden providing a fresh environment for bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. It's all thanks to a $10,000 grant from the "Planet Spring Into Action" program. They also partnered with "Tiger Mountain Foundation," a nonprofit that builds and maintains community gardens while teaching practical life skills to those in the community.
