Soldiers awarded medals for stopping Ft. Stewart gunman

Service medals were awarded to six soldiers who tackled an Army sergeant after he opened fire on a military base in Georgia. The U.S. Army says Sgt. Quornelius Radford shot five fellow soldiers at Fort Stewart on Aug. 6. The injured soldiers are in stable condition and are expected to survive.
