Pima County Sheriff’s Office Press Conference: Nancy Guthrie Investigation Update The Pima County Sheriff’s Office, led by Sheriff Chris Nanos, is providing a live update on the investigation into the disappearance of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie. Authorities have officially classified her home as a crime scene and believe she was abducted against her will from her Catalina Foothills residence on the night of January 31, 2026. Nancy Guthrie is the mother of NBC’s Today show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie. This press conference follows an emotional "proof of life" plea made by Savannah and her siblings on Wednesday evening.
