Flames grew overnight in the Oak Ridge Fire burning on Navajo Nation. The size is now more than 1,800 acres as evacuations remain in place for some residents.

Fire restrictions increasing across Arizona

With temperatures climbing and conditions drying out fast, fire danger in Arizona is growing. As a result, several communities are implementing new fire restrictions, including Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon and Sedona.

Forward progress stopped on Aztec Fire

Crews have stopped forward progress on the Aztec Fire, which was burning in the Hassayampa River Bottom in Wickenburg. The wind-driven fire sparked over the weekend and burned about 60 acres. The cause of the fire is unknown.

Greer Fire is 88% contained

The Greer Fire is 88% contained as of May 20 at 8 p.m. The fire holds steady at 20,308 acres. A day ago, residents were given the OK to go back to their homes after week-long evacuations.
