Nearly 1,000-acre brush fire ignites near Goodyear, forcing evacuations

The Avondale Fire is forcing evacuations near Goodyear as a fast-moving wildfire is affecting the nearby community. As of June 27, the fire is nearly 1,000 acres and 5% contained.
