$108M Mega Millions jackpot won in Lake Havasu City

Someone in Arizona has become a millionaire overnight.

A Mega Millions ticket sold in Lake Havasu City matched all six numbers including the gold Mega Ball in a drawing on Oct. 22, making this the second time that someone has won the jackpot in Arizona.

The winning ticket is worth $108 million. The numbers were 9, 14, 26, 29 and 66, and the gold Mega Ball was 22.

Lottery officials said it was sold at a Desert Martini store on Oct. 20. The money can either be paid out as a lump sum of $75.2 million or in 30 payments over 29 years.

Last summer, a Glendale couple won the Mega Millions jackpot valued at $410 million.

The jackpot for the next drawing on Oct. 26 will reset to $20 million.
