Man dies after being found shot inside crashed car in Phoenix, suspects arrested

Two suspects have been arrested after a man died after he was found shot inside a crashed car in a Phoenix neighborhood.

What we know:

Phoenix police say officers on June 19 were sent to the area of 45th Avenue and Weldon, after someone called 911 saying that a man had been shot.

"When officers and fire personnel arrived, they found the man with gunshot injuries. He was taken to a local hospital in extremely critical condition. The victim did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased," police said.

The man was later identified as 48-year-old Otis Sueing, Jr.

What they're saying:

"Early information suggests the victim was shot and then drove away before crashing his vehicle at the location where officers found him," police said.

Dig deeper:

On June 26, police said two suspects, 50-year-old Trinidad Black and 29-year-old Trinidad Brown, had been arrested. Both suspects were booked into jail.

"Brown was booked on charges stemming from this homicide, and Black was booked on outstanding felony warrants and additional drug-related charges," police said.
