What led to the arrest of Marcus Jordan?

What we know:

According to an official arrest affidavit, Maitland Police Department officers were driving eastbound on Greenwood Road, near Mechanic Street, around 1:14 a.m. on Feb. 4, when they saw a car with its headlights on, facing southbound on the railroad tracks.

Through investigation, officers discovered the car had just fled from a traffic stop initiated by the Seminole County Sheriff's Office.

Officers stated they detected the smell of alcohol coming from the car, and the person in the driver's seat, who was identified as Jordan, was slurring his words and had bloodshot eyes.

Jordan said he had taken a wrong turn and needed help getting his car off the tracks, reports show.

Police said Jordan refused to exit the car until officers ordered him and a passenger out.

Jordan told police he was coming from a few venues in the Winter Park and Casselberry area, most recently a Rachel's Gentleman's Club, officials said.

After a series of sobriety tests, officers said they arrested Jordan for DUI.

Police stated Jordan would not comply with being walked to the patrol car and refused to get in.

Records show officers also searched Jordan and found cocaine in his pants pocket.

Tuesday afternoon, Jones bonded out of jail.

Marcus Jordan bodycam: ‘I’m Michael Jordan's son."

The Maitland Police Department has released more than an hour of bodycam video showing law enforcement's interaction with Marcus Jordan early Tuesday morning, after his vehicle was found partially stuck on some trail tracks – as an active train was on its way, according to law enforcement.

The video appears to show Marcus behind the wheel of a blue vehicle and an unknown female in the passenger seat.

"Hang on. Hang on. You are stuck. Come here. You know trains come by right now, right?" a Maitland Police Officer asks the two, according to the video.

"I-I know. That's why I'm trying to get the (expletive) up and out of here," Marcus responds. At the same time, the female passenger rolled up the window and then rolls in back down.

"Your car ain't going nowhere, dude. You're buried. Bro, you're stuck on the track," the officer says.

"OK, so how do we get the (expletive) off the track?" Marcus responds.

"Honestly, I'm trying to figure that out," the officer responds.

The officer then asks Marcus and the female to get out of the car because there was a train on the way. Marcus and the female eventually get out of the vehicle.

The officers tell Marcus to keep his hands out of his pocket and proceed to do a pat down.

"Bro, I'm Marcus Jordan, Michael Jordan's son. I'm not doing anything wrong. I'm just trying to get home and I made a wrong turn. And clearly, we would like to get our car off the (expletive) train tracks," he tells the officers.

At another point, an officer explains to Marcus that he has concerns about his impairment, as well as his slurring.

"I appreciate your concerns, but I am not inebriated," he tells the officer.
