Phoenix firefighters battle two-alarm fire at equipment facility
PHOENIX - More than 100 firefighters with the Phoenix Fire Department battled a two-alarm fire at Drake Equipment of Arizona on Sunday.
The fire broke out around 2 p.m. near 19th Avenue and I-10 after reports of an structure fully engulfed in flames.
"Firefighters decided on a defensive strategy from the outset due to the fire involvement, fuel load, and size of the building. Firefighters utilized aerial ladder streams to attack the fire from an elevated position," the department said in a news release.
No injuries are reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
