It's been more than a month since 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie disappeared from her Tucson-area home, and for the first time since she went missing, her daughter, NBC "Today" show host Savannah Guthrie, was seen out in public on March 2, laying flowers outside Nancy's home with her brother and sister.

It's been more than a month since Nancy Guthrie, Savannah Guthrie's mom, disappeared from her Tucson-area home. According to Fox News, the case has been handed off to a task force featuring homicide detectives and FBI agents.

The Pima County Sheriff's Office says it is "refocusing resources" to detectives assigned to the case, and reviewing surveillance video, as the search for Nancy Guthrie hits the one-month mark.  

Savannah Guthrie made another plea to her mother's suspected kidnapper on Feb. 27, via a video posted to social media with the caption "please - be the one that brings her home."

On Thursday, newly-released video from a neighbor's Ring camera showed a dozen cars passing through the area on the same morning that Nancy Guthrie disappeared from her Tucson-area home.

As the search for Nancy Guthrie continues, there have been lots of speculation online on who may be responsible, and it is having an impact on some people.

The apparent abduction of Nancy Guthrie has sparked memories of a 1965 cold case. While DNA and video aid the search for Guthrie, the family of Maria Theresa Ruthling is still seeking closure 60 years after she vanished. FOX 10's Megan Spector reports.
