Cat dies in Mesa house fire, no residents hurt

A house fire on April 3 near Lindsay Road and Adobe Street left a cat dead. Crews were searching for a dog and a second cat. No residents were hurt. The cause of the fire is unknown.

Mesa officer, K-9 involved in crash

Mesa Police say an officer and his K-9 partner were involved in a crash with another person near Higley and Brown Roads. The officer, K-9 and the other person are all OK.

Motorcyclist killed in Mesa crash

Police say 18-year-old Logan Bann died in a crash near Power and McDowell Roads when a Ford F150 attempted to make a left turn into a parking lot and hit Bann, who was riding a dirt bike style motorcycle. Police say Bann was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash but did not have a headlight on.

Police searching for missing Mesa teen

Mesa Police are asking for help in the search for 17-year-old Lahnaya Hunter, who was last seen leaving her home near Higley Road and Southern Avenue on the evening of March 21.
