A man convicted of second-degree murder and aggravated assault in connection with a June 2024 crash at the intersection of Power Road and Hunt Highway that killed a 4-year-old girl was sentenced to two decades in prison.
Former state lawmaker pleads guilty to forging signatures
Former Arizona state lawmaker Austin Cole Smith admitted to signing the name of a deceased woman on one of his reelection petitions, the Arizona Attorney General's Office said. Smith served in the state House from 2023-2025.
