New details on U.S. 60 officer-involved shooting
Police say a 37-year-old man led officers on a chase after reportedly threatening a woman with a knife at an apartment in Mesa. Police say the suspect ran across the freeway after a failed pit maneuver, and reached for his waistband, claiming to have a gun. An officer opened fire, hitting the suspect.
