Arizona sees early-week storm chances followed by a major late-week temperature climb.

After a weekend of humid and rainy conditions, the upcoming week brings high chances for strong winds, blowing dust, and severe storms. FOX 10's Erica Horvatin has the latest rain chances across the state.

A severe thunderstorm warning brought 60 mph wind gusts to parts of Arizona while Phoenix experienced high humidity and a break in triple-digit temperatures. FOX 10's Ashley Loaeza has more on the rain chances for the remainder of the weekend. 

It has been rainy at times in Phoenix this week, but that's going to change during the upcoming weekend.

Overnight rain caused localized flooding in Phoenix. High temperatures will stay in the 90s on Friday before warming up this weekend.

Monsoon activity could bring more precipitation and possibly double-digit temperatures to the Valley ahead of the weekend.

There is a 50% chance of rain for Phoenix for Friday, along with a potential for double-digit temperatures.

Statewide flood watches are active on Thursday. Southern Arizona is at high risk for flash flooding, and Phoenix storm chances will rise by the evening.

Storms and rising humidity are heading to Phoenix, along with high winds, blowing dust, and flash flooding. FOX 10's Erica Horvatin has more on the excessive rain in Arizona over the next three days.

Thunderstorms are expected to move southwest toward Phoenix on Wednesday evening.

We are expecting a chance for rain in the Valley through the rest of the workweek. However, we are also expecting some relief from hot temperatures this weekend.

Monsoonal moisture is expected to increase storm chances mid-week while pushing local temperatures down.

Parts of the state could see rain throughout the week, and we are also expecting double-digit temperatures later on this week.

Rain chances will stick around throughout the week in Phoenix, and highs may even dip below the triple digits.
