Temperatures in the Valley remain well above normal as high pressure strengthens against the West Coast. In Phoenix, the forecast high hits 73 degrees on Tuesday.

The rain has moved out of the Valley, making way for clear and sunny conditions on Friday and throughout the weekend.

Rain and snow are expected to taper off across Arizona on Thursday night after a winter storm brought slick roads and freezing temperatures to much of the state.

It has been a day of active winter weather in the state, as a storm brought rain to parts of the Valley, and snow to parts of Northern Arizona. We have team coverage.
