Your cell phone will receive an emergency alert
Wednesday morning, an alarm will go off on cellphones across the country as part of a nationwide emergency alert test for FEMA. The test will be done in two parts -- one alert will go to cellphones and the other to radio and television stations. The alert will sound even on silenced phones.
