  • Double stabbing leaves woman hurt in Glendale
  • Indian School Road and 29th Avenue, Phoenix: A crash near 29th Avenue and Indian School Road claimed the life of a motorcyclist on the evening of July 15. (Watch video here)
  • Union Hills Drive and Cave Creek Road, Phoenix: "Crews arrived to find light smoke around the exterior of a mobile home. Firefighters established a water supply and quickly took hose lines interior for search, rescue and fire attack. Inside, firefighters were met with heavy, thick, black smoke. Crews worked to search the structure and locate the seat of the fire. The residence was determined to be void of any occupants and the fire was located in a single bedroom. All occupants had exited the mobile home prior to the arrival of the fire department. The flames were promptly contained and isolated to the one bedroom, preventing further damage to the mobile home," Phoenix Fire said.
  • Woman dead after she was found unresponsive in Estrella Jail, MCSO says
  • Cave Creek Road and Cortez Street, Phoenix: A 69-year-old man was rescued from North Mountain. "Technical rescue teams quickly assembled their gear and crews headed up the Christians Trail Preserve. The hiker was located approximately 1/2 mile up the trail. The hiker stated he was hiking for an hour before he started having heat-related symptoms," Phoenix Fire said.

  • South Mountain: Fire crews rescued an overheated 24-year-old hiker. He was hospitalized and treated.
  • 99th and Grand Avenues: The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office says the body of a man was found. "There appears to be no suspicious circumstances at this time," MCSO said.
