These war heroes departed from Phoenix Sky Harbor surrounded by cheering crowds. Their trip to D.C. is a chance to honor the lives lost in battles and to see the memorials that represent what they fought for. These are veterans from World War II, Korea and Vietnam. Some of them fought in all three.
