Arizona Congressman Paul Gosar is re-introducing two new bills that would remove environmental protections on millions of acres of federal land and open them up to mining and energy development. It would strip environmental protections from parts of the Grand Canyon National Monument and bring copper and gold mining to areas in the Ironwood Forest National Monument.

Turning Point USA spokesperson Andrew Kolvet shared a statement on Sept. 20, that read in part, "This individual was doing advance security for a known guest planning to attend the memorial service tomorrow. We do not believe this person was attempting anything nefarious,- however the advance was not done in proper coordination with the TPUSA security team or U.S. Secret Service."

Three people are dead, and three others were hospitalized following a crash on Saturday along U.S. Highway 93 near Wickenburg.
