Mobile home catches fire in Phoenix as temps reach highest of the year

As Phoenix reached its hottest day of the year so far, fire crews headed out to battle flames from a mobile home that caught fire Monday afternoon.

Suspect pointed gun at residents before being shot by Phoenix officers, police say

In a July 11 news release, the Phoenix Police Department released more information about what led up to the shooting as well as what followed. The suspect, in this case, died from his injuries 3 days later. Body cam footage has also been released.
