The Cardinals (2-2) are heading to MetLife Stadium to face the winless New York Jets (0-4), who are trying to avoid opening a season with five losses for the first time since 1996.

Though the frustration was palpable following Sunday’s loss, there was also a little room for levity. The Cardinals have been humbled, but it’s far from a hopeless situation.

The Cardinals earned a hard-fought, road win over a veteran team, using clutch plays throughout the second half and stepping up in the biggest moments against a division rival. In other words, the exact kind of game Arizona would have lost last season.
