ASU students create groundbreaking roof 'sunscreen'

A new product developed by two ASU students is being called sunscreen for buildings. It?s a new type of roof coating that essentially freezes and unfreezes during the day. FOX 10's Steve Nielsen wanted to learn more about the team making huge waves in the roofing industry.

$60M Shade Plan unanimously passed by City Council

Tornadoes damage over 100 homes in Oklahoma

Severe damage was left behind after tornadoes and storms ripped through central Oklahoma over the weekend. Many people are still without power as they comb through the rubble and debris. At least 11 people were hospitalized, and at one point, almost 100,000 homes and businesses were without power. It will likely take weeks to assess the total damage.

Hurricane Milton claims nearly two dozen lives

The death toll from Hurricane Milton stands at 23 as of Sunday, Oct. 13. Most of the casualties came in a retirement community hit by dozens of tornadoes. Thousands are still evacuated from their homes as crews work to restore access to hard hit areas. In the meantime, President Joe Biden visited the state to tour the devastation.
