Mauna Loa continues to erupt in Hawaii
Mauna Loa, the world's largest active volcano, continues to erupt on Hawaii's Big Island. With lava now entering a highway, there's concerns for residents and researchers. If the lava crosses the road, using alternative coastal routes would add hours for commuters and block deliveries and emergency vehicles. The volcano began spewing lava, gas, and ash over a week ago, but so far, officials say no communities are at risk.
