Hodge resigns as sexual misconduct report resurfaces
A member of the state House appointed to the seat just two months ago has resigned after a years-old sexual misconduct report resurfaced. Democrat Jevin Hodge stepped down following a report published by the Arizona Republic on March 18. The report detailed an alleged sexual encounter from 2015 when Hodge was 21 and still in college. He was accused of violating sexual violence and abuse standards and was suspended from the school for a month.
