Arcadia Fire near Dudleyville at 70% containment

The Arcadia Fire, which started on June 14, prompted GO status evacuations for residents south of Aravaipa Road and west of Trent Road. 

Officials with the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management said in a post on X the fire was at 70% containment and had burned 121 acres.

The fire began near the town of Dudleyville in Pinal County. An air attack unit and several hand crews were responding to the fire. 

State Route 77 was also closed due to its proximity, according to ADOT.
