High school student accused of sexual assault

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Scottsdale Police say they are investigating the sexual assault of two students at Coronado High School.

Sgt. Ben Hoster with Scottsdale Police said that the assault happened on a high school campus in Scottsdale but did not name the high school. A letter to parents from Coronado HS stated they were investigating the sexual assault.

18-year-old Tristan Figueroa was arrested by police on May 6, 2016 after authorities interviewed the 17-year-old victim. The alleged assault happened on April 28, 2016.
