Search underway for missing Florida man in Glacier National Park

A multi-agency search is underway in Montana’s Glacier National Park for a Florida man who went missing after setting out on a planned hike over the weekend.
What we know:
Search teams are actively looking for Anthony Pollio, a 33-year-old man from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, who was reported missing after last being heard on Sunday evening.
Pollio’s vehicle was found parked at Lake McDonald Lodge.
He had indicated he planned to hike toward the Mt. Brown Fire Lookout, and his last known communication was sent around 8:20 p.m. on Sunday, May 3.
Park officials were alerted to his disappearance the following Monday afternoon.
Pollio is described as a 5-foot-11, 180-pound white male with short brown hair and brown eyes. He may be wearing jeans, boots, a blue or gray jacket, and carrying a black backpack.

Search efforts are currently focused on the Mt. Brown and Snyder Lake areas, along with nearby trail systems. Rangers are being assisted by Flathead County Search and Rescue, and aerial support is also being deployed.
