Phoenix Police: Seeking two suspects who assaulted a woman and used her credit card

Phoenix Police are looking for two suspects who stole a woman's purse, assaulted her, and then used her credit card at a local convenience store.

On Monday, May 15, 2017 at 5 p.m., in south Phoenix, a suspect went up to a 27-year-old female walking down the street and attempted to steal her purse.

She resisted, and the male punched her twice in the face before the purse strap broke.

Meanwhile, the second suspect said he was, "Going to need the gun."

Both males got into a vehicle driven by a black female and shortly afterwards, they used the victim's credit card at the Circle K located at 7th Avenue and Baseline Road.

The first suspect is described as a black male, about 20 years of age, 5 foot 9 inches, 155 pounds with black shoulder length dreads that had light brown tips, and he has black eyes. He was wearing a black t-shirt, torn jeans and gray tennis shoes.

The second suspect is described as a black male, about 18 years of age, 5 foot 6 inches, weighing 150 pounds, with black hair and black eyes. He was wearing a blue t-shirt, camouflage pants and blue tennis shoes.

The vehicle was a black passenger vehicle.
