APS Light Parade in Phoenix on Dec. 4

The APS Light Parade is Saturday, Dec. 4 and it will look a little different this year. Organizers are limiting entries to just floats, so there will not be marching bands or performing groups this year as a COVID-19 precaution.

Downtown Phoenix New Year's Eve Block Party set for Dec. 31

The biggest New Year's Eve celebration in downtown Phoenix is back. A block party will be held Dec. 31 at Margaret T. Hance Park near Central and Portland. The annual event was put on hold last year because of the coronavirus pandemic. The new location will be entirely outdoors and there will be three stages of music, as well as fireworks and food trucks.

'Merry Main Street' returns to Mesa

The city of Mesa's annual celebration of the holiday season begins Nov. 26. Festivities include ice skating, a large Christmas tree, and a visit from Santa. The lighting ceremony of the four-story tree will begin at 5:45 p.m. in downtown Mesa at Main Street and Macdonald.
