One person was killed in an overnight crash near 83rd Avenue and Thomas Road. The driver stayed on the scene until authorities arrived.

The eastbound U.S. 60 will be closed between the Loop 202 and Crismon Road from 9 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday and northbound State Route 143 will be closed between Broadway Road and the Loop 202 from 10 p.m. Friday through 4 a.m. Monday.

The crash happened just before 11 p.m. on March 12 in the eastbound lanes of the freeway near Dobson Road. The Arizona Department of Public Safety has not said what led up to the crash. The freeway has since been reopened.

The eastbound U.S. 60 will be closed between the Loop 202 and Crismon Road from 9 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday; westbound Interstate 10 will be narrowed to three lanes between Broadway Road and 40th Street from 10 p.m. Friday through 4 a.m. Monday; Broadway Road will be closed in both directions between I-10 and 55th Street from 10 p.m. Friday through 4 a.m. Monday; and the northbound Loop 101 will be closed overnight between Raintree Drive and Princess Drive-Pima Road in north Scottsdale from 10 p.m. Sunday through 5 a.m. Monday.

The crash happened near the Loop 202 and Country Club Drive. Authorities say three vehicles were involved, and two people were hospitalized with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash, according to Phoenix Police, happened along Telegraph Pass Road. Crews responded to the scene at around 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

First responders are at the scene of a rollover crash on the South Mountain. Police have blocked off the road, and there's an ambulance at the scene.

Westbound Interstate 10 will be narrowed to two lanes for lane striping and barrier work near Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, between Broadway Road and 40th Street, from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday; westbound U.S. 60 will be closed for pavement work between Crismon Road and the Loop 202 from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday; and the I-10 interchange at 40th Street will be closed for paving from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday.

Drivers traveling up north this week and into the weekend will want to give themselves plenty of extra time as there will be lane restrictions for construction. FOX 10's Danielle Miller has an update.

Eastbound Interstate 10 was closed on the morning of Feb. 27 in Quartzsite after a commercial truck-tractor pulling a semi-trailer braked abruptly in traffic, causing it to lose control and jackknife, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said. The truck-tractor then rear-ended a fuel tanker, igniting a fire. Both drivers suffered minor injuries.

Interstate 10 westbound will be narrowed to three lanes between Broadway Road and 40th Street near Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport for barrier work; the I-10 westbound ramp to the U.S. 60 eastbound will be closed for paving, and the I-10 westbound on-ramp at Baseline Road will also be closed, as well as the I-10 eastbound off-ramp at Baseline Road; the U.S. 60 westbound will be closed between Crismon Road and the Loop 202 for pavement improvement work, and the Loop 202 southbound ramp to the U.S. 60 westbound will be closed, as well as the U.S. 60 westbound on-ramps at Ironwood Drive and Signal Butte and Meridian Roads; and the Loop 101 southbound will be narrowed to the two left lanes between the U.S. 60 and the Loop 202 for lane striping work.

The crash happened near 7th Avenue on Feb. 22. At least two lanes of traffic were shut down while crews used a crane to get the tanker truck back in place. No injuries were reported.
