Woman hit, killed by car in Costco parking lot
The collision happened in the parking lot of a Costco store in Surprise near the Loop 303 and Waddell Road. The victim, 87-year-old Carole Escajeda, died from her injuries. Investigators say the driver was not impaired and was not driving recklessly. The driver was released and not charged.
