A small, single-engine plane crashed near the Casa Grande Municipal Airport on Friday afternoon after experiencing engine failure during a flight between Tucson and Phoenix. The pilot, who was the only person on board, was found conscious and alert.

Milad Rafie, 28, is accused of shooting and killing his 59-year-old stepfather, Najbulla Rafie. Milad also allegedly shot his teenage brother at a home near 16th Street and Bell Road. Milad is accused of second-degree murder and aggravated assault.

Richard Djerf is scheduled to be executed on Oct. 17 for the 1993 murders of four members of the Luna family. Djerf will be put to death, 32 years after the crime occurred. FOX 10's John Hook will be a witness to the execution and has a preview.
