After 2019's Museum Fire created a burn scar, flooding turned streets into rivers and many people started lining their yards with sandbags to keep the water out. Flagstaff now has another way to alert people to get to safety.

Beginning today, the use of propane and gas BBQ's are not allowed in Flagstaff parks, open spaces, or private campgrounds. Stage 1 and 2 restrictions are still in place, meaning fireworks, open burning, and smoking in public places are not permitted. Violations could result in tickets, fines, or even jail time.

A senior citizen died in Death Valley after his car ran out of gas in Death Valley National Park during record high temperatures. A park visitor found his body on Tuesday.
