Arizona teen suspected of driving car loaded with marijuana

LUKEVILLE, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a 16-year-old Arizona girl is facing a federal charge after driving a car loaded with 185 pounds of marijuana from Mexico into the U.S.

The girl from Glendale, Arizona, is not being identified because she is a minor, a spokeswoman for U.S. Customs and Border Protection said.

Two women who were in the vehicle were also arrested during the March 22 incident in Lukeville, Arizona, which borders with Mexico.

The women were identified as 23-year-old Jessica Ontiveros and 24-year-old Marina Elena Garcia.

CBP says they were in a Volkswagen sedan that was loaded with a dozen packages of pot worth more than $92,000.
