Bondsman who raided police chief's home pleads not guilty

A bail bondsman who mistakenly raided the home of the Phoenix police chief while looking for fugitive from Oklahoma plead not guilty to charges on Friday.

The Maricopa County Superior Court says Brent Farley plead not guilty to charges of criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct.

In August, Farley and a group of other bail bondsmen, were searching for a fugitive from Oklahoma when they raided the wrong home, which turned out to the the home of the Phoenix Chief of Police, Joseph Yahner.

Farley, who owns North Star Recovery, said he received a false tip, which led him to the chief's house. His next scheduled court appearance is Nov. 18 at 8:30 a.m.
