Former Border Patrol agent sentenced to prison

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - A former Border Patrol agent accused of sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl has been sentence to prison.

Jeremy Cole has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to sexual conduct with a minor and attempted kidnapping.

Police say Cole was staying with some friends in Chandler when he snuck into the girl's bedroom and sexually abused her. Since Cole's arrest, an investigation into another victim in Sierra Vista is underway.
