Marana woman jumps out window after allegedly having sex with teen

A Marana woman was arrested after she was caught allegedly having sex with a boy half her age.

Pinal County Sheriff's deputies say 34-year-old Keri Gonzalez brought alcohol to the boy's home after everyone was asleep, drank with him, then engaged in sexual activity with the 15-year-old twice in his upstairs bedroom.

Investigators say the teen's mother heard noises and went to her son's bedroom -- to find it was locked.

When he opened the door, the mother allegedly saw Gonzalez hiding naked behind the bed. Deputies say that's when mother yelled at Gonzalez to get out, so jumped out of a two-story window and was seen limping away from the home.

About 30 minutes later, she reportedly knocked on the door and told the mother she had broken her ankle during the fall.

Authorities say the boy's mother called 911 several days after the incident:

"Yeah, she dropped from my window when I woke up because I heard the ruckus. She dropped from my two story window and broke her ankle apparently, but I thought it was just a different girl. I thought it was a different girl..a girl 18 and she's 30 something.."

Gonzalez is reportedly an acquaintance of the family and deputies say she was warned previously to stay away from the teen.

GONZALEZ AND THE BOY'S MOTHER TELL THEIR SIDES OF THE STORY:

"I woke up to banging and screaming at the door and it was the boy's mom and when I woke up, I didn't have pants on."

Keri Gonzalez, the woman accused in this crime, spoke to FOX 10 Tuesday at her Marana home, saying she wanted to clear her name.

"That's not what I am at all," she said.

Gonzalez says allegations of sexual misconduct with the 15-year-old are false and that she's the victim.

The Pinal County Sheriff's Office says on January 21st, Gonzalez was at the San Tan home of the boy and say she gave him alcohol, pills and then had sex with him, but she has a different story.

"My son went over to go see a girl that lives over at that house and we stopped by there and they asked us to come in," said Gonzalez, who claims she did not serve anyone alcohol and was only supposed to be at the house a short time.

"We were talking and hanging out and one of the guys that was around 18 was pushing me onto the 15-year-old and continued to do it over 10 times and I was just trying to get my keys from them and leave," she said. "I said I had a headache and they gave me something and then I started feeling really weird and dizzy and they were like, you can come lay down and so they showed me up to a room.. woke up to banging and screaming at the door and it was the boy's mom and when I woke up, I didn't have pants on and while he was talking to her, I jumped out the two story window because I didn't even know what was going on in my mind at the time. If I was in my right mind, I wouldn't have jumped out the window."

That's not what deputies say happened and not what the boy's own mother says she witnessed first hand.

"I seen a girl tucked between the wall and the mattress.. get out of my house.. get out of here.. you're not supposed to be in my house. Then I backed off, went in the hallway and gave her some space. Next thing I know, she drops from my son's second story window, breaking her ankle," said the boy's mother, who did not want to be identified.

The mother says at 34-years-old, Gonzalez should have known better.

"Who is the adult in this situation -- who?" she asked. "She brought the alcohol over. She brought the Xanax. Who's the adult?"

Gonzalez was originally booked into jail for sexual misconduct with a minor. She has since been released.
