Men accused of embezzling millions from state plead not guilty

A former Arizona state worker who is charged with defrauding the state's Medicaid program plead not guilty on Thursday.

Michael Veit is accused of embezzling millions from Access. He plead not guilty to charges on Thursday and is scheduled to appear in court again on Nov. 5.

Michael Cameron, who is accused of helping Veit defraud the state, also plead not guilty.

Investigators also say both men were preparing to leave the country before they were arrested.
