Pinal County Sheriff Babeu to run for Congress

PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu has announced he will run for Congress.

Sheriff Babeu announced on Monday that he will run in Arizona's First Congressional District, which covers Flagstaff through Pinal and Northern Pima County.

Babeu was elected in 2008 as the county's first Republican sheriff and in October 2011, he ran for a seat in the fourth Congressional District, but dropped out of the race a few months later.
