Possible suspect detained after resident hurt in home invasion

According to officers, a man was leaving for work around 4:45 a.m. when he heard someone trying to break into his home at Glendale Cascade.

"We hear somebody try and open it, and I tell my wife better call police, call 9-1-1," said Leogardo Enrique, one of the home invasion victims.

"They open it and put me on the floor, and they start asking me for money; where's the safe, where's the safe, and I don't have no safe," said Enrique.

When officers arrived, the suspects took off.

He was taken to a hospital for treatment.

More suspects were reportedly caught, but more information on them hasn't been released.

The family is now holding tight that justice will prevail.
