Puppy mill pugs go up for adoption
PHOENIX (KSAZ) - It's been one of the most talked about stories in the past few weeks on our Facebook page: a pack of pugs were found in a puppy mill and on Monday, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio gave an update on how people can adopt one of the dogs.
More than 100 pugs are ready to find a new forever home just in time for the holidays. The dogs were being treated at Sheriff Arpaio's MASH unit. A total of 129 dogs, mostly pugs, were rescued from a Tonopah puppy mill nearly a month ago.
MCSO has been flooded with phone calls and e-mails from people who want to adopt the rescued pups.
To adopt a pug, go to the MASH website, fill out an application and mail it in.
