Shutterfly is now hiring for the holidays

If you're looking for some extra income over the holidays, Shutterfly, a personalized photo products company, is hiring for more than 600 positions.

"We will give you the experience and skills required to be successful this year," Jim Nelson said. "They'll run a digital printer, possibly finishing systems, loading envelopes, packaging, shipping, warehousing."

Jim Nelson, director of manufacturing for the 250,000 square-foot facility, says the company receives most of its orders during the holidays and needs help keeping up.

"Looks like a miniature city," he said. "Right now, we run about 150 employees throughout the year, and we will ramp up an additional 600 just in manufacturing and that puts us at about 200 additional people a shift," he said.

Nelson says holiday hires will make anywhere from $10.50 to $15 an hour.

"Looking for anybody over the age of 18 with a high school diploma, again, no experience required if you love photography," he said. "It's definitely a plus for us."
