Will young voters vote, come November?

PHOENIX (KSAZ) -- Everybody talks about politics, but not everybody votes, especially young people.

In the last midterm elections, held in 2014, just 23% of young people voted. This year, however, with so much going on. will people get out and vote?

For some young voters, they are into voting.

"Yes, I have an early ballot for mail-in" said ASU student Elizabeth Ortega.

"A lot of young people talk about changing the world, but you can't do that if you don't vote," said student Charlie Ross.

"If we want people we trust in government we have to vote. Otherwise crazy crap happens. Crazy stuff happens," said ASU student Abel Alec Figueroa.

However, it does look like some young people will not vote. When asked by FOX 10's Steve Krafft, a few said they won't.

This year, even the stars want people to get involved. At the American Music Awards, singer Taylor Swift and comedian Billy Eichner asked people to vote.

Will that message, however, get through? That's up to you.
