Opening arguments are slated to begin on Monday, April 10 after days of jury selections ? a very thorough process as the court drilled potential jurors with specific questions on circumstantial evidence, religious beliefs and graphic evidence.

After three days of jury selection, the court is close to the number of potential jurors it wants. There are 39 potential jurors and three more are needed by the court. The Lori Vallow trial began on April 3 for the so-called doomsday mom who left Arizona for Idaho, and she's accused of killing her two kids.

After two days, there are still 30 potential jurors that need to be chosen for the Lori Vallow trial.

As the trial of Lori Vallow charged in three killings in what prosecutors say was a doomsday-focused plot began Monday, attorneys asked potential jurors if they would have trouble being impartial after viewing autopsy photos of children. A look at Lori Vallow via Zoom from a remote courtroom inside the Ada County courthouse showed her sitting between her two lawyers watching the jury selection process intently.

The trial for the so-called doomsday mom Lori Vallow gets underway next week in Boise, Idaho. She's accused of killing her children JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan and conspiring with her husband Chad Daybell in the murder of his previous wife Tammy.
