A serial car theft suspect has been arrested after Arizona DPS troopers found multiple stolen vehicles from Arkansas, Mesa and Phoenix during a month-long investigation.
A man accused of killing his uncle in south Phoenix following an argument over who would get to sleep on the couch has been arrested. “When the family pled for Dejoun [sic] to stop, Dejoun [sic] yelled ‘F--- him’ and shot Denzell again."
Police previously were asking for the public's help in identifying a young woman who was found dead earlier this year in south Phoenix, and months later, she's finally been identified.

A 68-year-old woman is dead following a crash along a street in south Phoenix on July 1.
“The two men got out of the car with handguns drawn and pulled masks over their faces,” Sgt. Philip Krynsky said. “Through the rearview mirror the detective was able to see the actions of the two males and began to put on her police ballistic vest and draw her handgun.”
Officers took Ray Zazueta into custody near 7th Street and Southern Avenue after one resident said a naked man was standing outside their apartment.
"We know we have a problem in the city of Phoenix with our roads and dangerous intersections." 7th Avenue and Southern is one of the intersections at scrutiny.
The suspects allegedly stole from a BBB Fashion near 35th Avenue and Southern on Dec. 21 and a Melrose Fashion near 7th Street and Baseline on Jan. 25.
The investigation began after police were called to the Rio Salado Landfill, located near 7th Avenue and Magnolia Street, on May 30. Officers on scene later found the body of a man believed to be in his early 40s just outside the landfill entrance.
All tenants got out of the building on their own before firefighters arrived. No one was injured.
Detectives, according to police, were later able to gather enough evidence to name 26-year-old Joshua Bagley as the suspect.
Officers said a shooting was reported at around 3 a.m. on May 14 near 40th Street and Nancy Lane.
Police say the robbery happened at a location near 24th Street and Baseline Road on the afternoon of Jan. 29.
A man yelling with a machete was shot by a Phoenix Police officer after he went into the roadway and was headed toward officers, the department says on May 1.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire before it spread to any nearby structures. No injuries were reported.
Once at the home, firefighters found a fire burning in the attic with reports of a person trapped inside. That person was pulled from the home and taken to a hospital for evaluation. Their current condition is unknown.
A man, a woman, and two children were inside the home at the time of the shooting. One of the children was hit by gunfire and was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to police, the incident began when a gray sedan hit another car and fled near Third Street and Dobbins.
