The case was dismissed for a mother criminally charged after speaking at a city council meeting in Surprise. FOX 10 first brought you this story back in August after Rebekah Massie questioned a raise worth thousands at a Surprise city council meeting. Mayor Skip Hall called the cops and the mother was forcibly removed from city hall.

FOX 10 obtained body camera footage showing a Valley mom who was arrested in August at a Surprise City Council meeting. Her crime? Questioning why a city employee would get a raise worth thousands. She's suing the city and the police department claiming her constitutional rights were violated.

In this week's Made in Arizona, we meet a local baker who has been featured on the Food Network and whose business is located in Surprise. FOX 10 Photojournalist Mitch Olewiler has more.

The Surprise Police Department says it arrested four students in connection with what they say was a "plan to carry out an act of violence towards a fellow 5th grade student."

Two men are dead following a shooting early Monday morning in Surprise, and police believe it was a murder-suicide. Police say the victim was dating the suspect's ex-wife.

One person was hospitalized following a shooting near El Mirage and Greenway Roads. The victim's condition is unknown. Police have not said if any arrests have been made.
